We went to the doctor the other day and found out from the ultrasound that our correct due date is January 27, 2009. As of tomorrow (June 24) we will be 9 weeks along.
We’re very excited. Unfortunately, Kelly gets very sick when she is pregnant and is on some nausea medicine that they apparently give to chemotherapy patients.

The nausea goes away by week 15 – usually. For some there is usually a nose bleed or two after the 15th week. But these are all temporary upsets.
16th week onwards you have to start searching for a variety of restaurants to satisfy her tastes. So just give it time and gear up. Time to tighten the purse strings and save for the second kid. 😉
Did “you” get the MMR shot(s) yet? And changed job too?
Scott Isaacs
I haven’t got any shots yet. New job starts next week. More on that later… 🙂

If you are between jobs and relaxing, I would suggest going to Milwaukee Public Health dept and get the MMR shots for free. MMR has two shots seperated by a month. If you get one now, you can get another one later after 30 days. You do not have to pay a dime to anyone. It may not be necessary but if you want to be on the safe side, you can go and get them.
Congratulations on your new job! Will you be in Waukesha area still?
